Foster-Based · 501(c)(3) Exotic Animal Rescue

Every animal deserves a legacy of care.

Most shelters just aren't set up for wolfdogs or exotic animals, so we started one that is. Lady's Legacy is a foster-based rescue built around rescuing, rehabbing, educating, and rehoming the animals other places can't take on.

100% of every donation goes straight to animal care: food, safety, and enrichment for the animals in our care.

Our Mission

Four commitments, made to every animal that comes through our door.

01

Rescue

We step in for wolfdogs and exotic animals in crisis, whether they've been surrendered, neglected, or just have nowhere else to go.

02

Rehabilitate

Behavioral, medical, and nutritional care tailored to species that most shelters aren't equipped to handle.

03

Educate

We help people understand what these animals actually need, before they adopt and long after.

04

Rehome

Thoughtful placement into experienced, prepared homes built for the long haul, not just the puppy stage.

Areas of Expertise

Specialized care for animals other rescues can't take.

Wolfdogs and exotic species have needs that go far beyond a standard shelter intake. Our foster network is built specifically around them.

How We Care for Every Animal

Foster homes whenever we can. Hands-on care in between.

Wolfdogs and exotic animals rarely do well in a traditional kennel setting, so wherever possible, we place them directly into experienced foster homes. For animals still waiting on the right match, our team provides daily hands-on care, feeding, watering, and cleaning, at our own facility until they're ready to move into a home.

  • Lower stress, faster progress A real home environment lets our team observe true behavior and address it early, instead of masking it with kennel anxiety.
  • Species-appropriate setups We match every placement to that animal's specific enclosure, diet, and enrichment needs. No two setups look the same.
  • A built-in support network Fosters are backed by our team for medical questions, behavior guidance, and adoption screening every step of the way.
  • Every dollar goes to the animals 100% of every donation goes directly toward animal care: food, safety, veterinary needs, and enrichment.
